SUPPORTIVE WELLNESS COACHING

'Eat better. Stress less. Exercise more.'

You hear it every day. It tells you what to do — but never how to do it sustainably around your goals, your lifestyle, your home, your schedule.

True North is an 80/20 collaborative partnership. I hold a safe, non-judgemental environment — using gentle muscle testing, uncovering hidden imbalances, sharing insight about those pathways, and recommending manageable, sustainable steps for daily life.

I sit in the passenger seat, providing the clinical biofeedback, mapping the BEES framework, and guiding the way. The driver's seat belongs entirely to you — because this journey belongs to your goals, your lifestyle, and your inner wisdom.

THE FRAMEWORK

Four pillars of the coaching partnership

A judgement-free space

A safe environment where we analyse habits and triggers without shame.

SMART goals

Turning vague desires into clear, concrete milestones you can actually reach.

Powerful inquiries

Fresh, supportive questions tailored to your life — not a script.

Compassionate accountability

Celebrating wins and tweaking obstacles as they arise. We don't drop the goal — we adapt the steps.

IN DEPTH

What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

If you have ever left a health appointment with a generic checklist of things to change — like "eat better," "reduce your stress," or "exercise more" — you know how overwhelming it can be to actually put those words into practice.

While conventional advice tells you what you need to do, Health and Wellness Coaching at True North focuses on how you actually do it, sustainably, on your own terms.

Your goals, your lifestyle, and your daily challenges are unique. Instead of giving you a rigid, one-size-fits-all plan, coaching acts as a collaborative partnership. Together, we look at the bigger picture of your life. We treat your current habits and daily stressors as clues, exploring what is working, what is holding you back, and exactly what you need to create lasting, effortless change.

You are the ultimate expert on your own life. My role as a coach is to help you connect with that inner wisdom, providing the space, the structure, and the tools to guide you back to your natural state of health.

BEYOND THE DIAGNOSIS

Moving beyond the diagnosis — how coaching helps

Just like Functional Kinesiology, coaching moves away from simply managing a symptom and looks deeper at the underlying patterns of your lifestyle. Here is how our coaching partnership helps you transform your health:

Bridges the gap between knowledge and action: You likely already know what is "healthy," but life gets in the way. Coaching helps you break down big health goals into realistic, bite-sized steps that naturally fit your routine.

Creates a judgement-free space: Health journeys can be emotional. True North provides a completely safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you can explore your relationship with food, stress, and self-care without shame.

Cultivates independent confidence: The goal of coaching isn't to make you dependent on a practitioner. It is designed to empower you with the self-awareness and mindset tools to confidently navigate your own well-being for the rest of your life.

AREAS OF SUPPORT

What can health coaching support?

Because wellness is entirely holistic, coaching can support you through any transition where you want to reclaim your vitality. We work together to find balance in areas such as:

Sustaining consistent movement: Building physical activity into your week in a way that feels energising rather than like a chore.

Stress & burnout recovery: Designing daily boundaries, mindfulness practices, and nervous system support to handle life's demands.

Nutritional & lifestyle transitions: Integrating functional nutrition recommendations smoothly into a busy household or work schedule.

Overcoming habit fatigue: Moving past the cycle of "starting over every Monday" and building deep, lasting behavioural change.

WHAT TO EXPECT

How a coaching session works

If you've never experienced professional coaching before, it is completely different from talking to a friend or a regular conversation. During a session, we sit down together (either in person or online) for a dedicated, focused conversation entirely centred on you. The most important thing to know is that this is a client-led space. My role as a coach is not to lecture you, judge you, or dictate your choices. Instead, I use a structured, supportive process to map your path forward:

Deep listening & powerful inquiries: I use targeted questions to help you look at your habits from a fresh perspective, uncovering hidden blocks and identifying what truly motivates you.

SMART goal setting: We take vague desires (like "I want more energy") and turn them into clear, actionable, and achievable milestones so you always know exactly what your next step is.

Compassionate accountability: At the start of each session, we celebrate your wins from the week before and gently look at any obstacles that came up, tweaking the plan so it perfectly supports your life.

CADENCE

How many sessions will be helpful

Behavioural change and true healing take time. Because your nervous system and your habits need space to adapt and form new pathways, coaching is most effective when approached as a journey rather than a one-off fix.

The initial momentum: A minimum commitment of 3 to 6 sessions is highly recommended to build consistency, establish your foundational goals, and see tangible shifts in your daily energy and routine.

The cadence: Sessions are typically spaced two weeks apart. This gives you the perfect amount of time to practice your new tools in the real world, gather feedback from your body, and bring those clues back to our next session.
